I had full intentions of sharing this post with you on a crisp fall day, golden sun streaming through the many varied hues of leaves in our gorgeous river valley. Instead we are sharing it on a day with a few centimeters of snow on the ground. Though unexpected (and much maligned) we can use this opportunity to think warm and cozy thoughts, so grab a cup of cocoa as we share with you the joys of our fall/winter collection photo shoot.
When it's cold, we just want to cuddle in and take care of ourselves. So for this collection we wanted to focus on the products that inspire comfort and care. Products like the rich body scrubs from Farm House Fresh, the new Indie Lee brightening eye serum, whipped Lalicious body melts, glistening Voluspa candles, and of course rich hued lip colors.
But more than that, we really wanted to capture the feeling of what it means to practice self care. From carving out a space for yourself to relax and pamper yourself, to coming together with friends and the people who inspire you to be your best. This mix of personal time and social connection defines this season for me and I am so happy to share that vision with LUX and all of you.
With that, I want to say a special thank you to all the talented women involved in once again creating magic with us. As always, the talented Dallas Curow is a master behind the lens, knowing how to get everything "just-so" in a way that makes an image blossom.
