The start of October marks the onset of traditions. From now until the ball drops on New Years Eve, expect gathering friends and family, shared meals & conversations and finding warmth within our relationships even as the mercury drops outside.
At LUX we are no exception to embracing traditions both old and new. This year the LUX ladies held their first ever “LUXGiving”; an evening filled with laughter, drinks, boards games and very full plates. We had such a wonderful time we thought we’d share a few snaps of the night.

Being total beauty junkies we thought there would be no better way to celebrate the season than by sharing with you the LUX products we were most thankful for. After agonizing over which ones to pick here is a round up of some of our all time favourite LUX treats.
Pret-a-Powder from Bumble and Bumble was Jes’ pick, raving it’s time-saving properties. “It has great volume payoff when I need it and a suburb dry shampoo when I’m late or just lazy! The super fine milled powder soaks up excess oil like a dream without building up reside and it has nice clean scent!”
Katryna selected Sketches on Water Tinted Moisturizer from Rouge Bunny Rouge “It is so lightweight and easy to apply and takes away all the morning inertia to put my look together. It has made my routine a cinch”
Vanilla Hand Cream from 100% Pure was ready and waiting in Natasha’s bag. “The pure vanilla hand cream smells like cookies and keeps my hand soft even after I wash them!”

At the end of the evening Jenn said it best: “Thanksgiving is just the best holiday. It’s not about buying gifts or spending money, its about sharing a meal with the people you love and simply feeling grateful for all the things in your life. Honestly, what’s better than that?!”
