The holidays are the most magical time at LUX. Not only do we love the hustle and bustle of the busy season, but we get to bring in limited edition stock for this time of year.
This means that we get to re-merchandise the ENTIRE shop to show off all that is new and bright. A simple task? No. But our team is full of happy faces who love to jam to great tunes, so 12 hours in the shop is actually more like a party.
First task? The window display. Our store is a beacon of joy, we need to extend this feeling of warmth to all who walk by and enter. Our secret weapon is Jes, window mastermind. She hand frosted the window and text, found twigs in her backyard and painted them up and strung up the most beautiful lights. (If you are attending All is Bright on 124th during November 23rd, vote for our window in the light it up contest!)
Next was unpacking all the limited edition gift sets and new brands for the season. This was like a mini celebration in itself. New things are always the most exciting.
Finally all we had to do was set up all our displays to be sparkling and enticing. Easy-peasy, especially when you have the most luxurious, tantilizing and coveted products on the market.
