This past Saturday we celebrated 14 years of LUX at our best birthday party yet! We were honored that so many people braved the cold and winter-y weather to Party like an Egyptian with us.
It is said that whenever LUX has a birthday party, there shall be snow.
But a little snow did not stop our ladies from donning glittering golden jewels and flowy desert dresses to channel the spirit of Queen Cleopatra with dramatic eyeliner to match.
15 minutes before opening, we noticed the line of beauty devotees queuing up to get the first dibs on our amazing prizes and goodies. It was absolutely freezing outside – this is what we call true dedication – and we love it!
Upon arrival, party goers were welcomed and delighted with hot apple cider, glasses of bubbly and fresh-from-the-oven Cookie Love – we noticed some people even popped back over for seconds.
One of our favorite things of the day was indulging all our beauty junkies with the best products and our favorite items the whole day through.
We were bumpin’ and bustling from morning ’til close, with many lucky ladies winning some sweet goods from our infamous Spin to Win wheel – there was an extra special surprise included this year…THREE Clarisonics went up for grabs. (And promptly went to excited new homes!)
This year, the experience took to a whole new level, with shoppers checking themselves out with SelfPay AND shopping from the comfort of home on our new online store. We excitedly hit the refresh button all day to pack up the beautiful goodies for those at home.
