What I Brought to Turkey

Posted by Katryna Y on

Though we can travel any time of the year, there is something special about the energy in the summer that just makes us want to pack up and go somewhere. Each trip we take will lead to new experiences, adventures and promise to teach us something new about ourselves. Though this means we need to tailor our precious suitcase space to the clothing and beauty products best suited to what lies before us.

Last year we shared our LUX insider packing tricks for rustic trips in the woods for a weekend or the whole summer, and for some more metropolitan getaways like New York City or San Francisco.

This year, the LUX ladies are reaching even further across the globe. Sarah recently had the trip of a lifetime taking in an intimate tour of Turkey. She spent 2 weeks visiting cities, exploring the natural terrain, taking in the bustling marketplaces and experiencing a hot air balloon with breathtaking views.

Today she shares the items that were essential to the journey.

Surf Infusion: I opted not to bring my hair dryer (no surprise there), so I wanted something that I could air dry in that would give me cool, low-maintenance style.

Pret-a-Powder: For those 7 am tour wake up times when you just can't deal with greasy hair.

Marvis Toothpaste: Self explanatory.

La Fresh Wipes: Countless hours on a plane make an excellent excuse for body soothers. Also great to keep in your purse for out and about touch ups.

Skyn Iceland Eye Gels and Caudalie Beauty Elixir: Absolute essentials, in my opinion, for surviving airports and long flights.

Seche Vite: Because even though I'm traveling, I still want cute nails.

Tata Harper: Replenishing Nutrient Complex saves my skin through stress and tough times (and I'm a big fan of facial oils) while the Rebuilding Moisturizer is great under makeup for everyday moisture.
