If you’ve been to a fundraising event over the past year, you’ve likely seen a silent auction item donated by LUX. This weekend I attended the Valley Zoo’s On Safari event & had a great time (despite the giant snake out for a stroll with the zookeeper). I’m also happy to report that our two donated baskets inspired bidding wars, each ending up at $100!

Last night, 54 exceptional Edmonton women were honoured at the 2009 YWCA Women of Distinction Awards. LUX is proud to have participated in this celebration by donating gifts for each of the 1000 guests. Congratulations to all!
