The LUX To-Do List: November

Posted by Marielle T on

We have been absolutely spoiled this fall; we’re nearly one week into November and yet there’s still no snow on the ground. The Holiday season is just around the corner and while it may not be in full swing yet, with weather like this, how could we stay inside?!  So in light of embracing every glorious snow-free moment, here’s our LUX Must-Do List for November:

High Street Living:
All is Bright: This family friendly event will be in full swing to welcome the Holiday Season to High Street on Saturday Nov. 22. Featuring live music, shinny hockey games on the street, local market vendors, and bonfires (complete with s’more supplies). This event boasts a traditional holiday light up at 6pm and SO much more. We’ll be keeping you up to date on all the event details via our Facebook and newsletter.

LUX Holiday Kick-Off:
Trying to ensure you get all of our best holiday treats without braving the December crowds? LUX will be fully holiday stocked and ready to help you one stop shop for the holidays with our official holiday kick off on Saturday Nov. 15. Stop by for some cider and let us take care of the rest!

Cook like a Duchess: The long awaited Duchess Cookbook, featuring recipes from the cafes to die for desserts, will be released on Nov. 12 at 9am. The release kicks off with a book signing as well as discounts on Provisions kitchen tools, and free totes for the first 100 cookbooks sold! Find out more here

Know your Maker:

17th Annual Royal Bison: Every year this bi-annual craft fair packs in the best of Canada’s makers to the point of capacity so this year to meet demand they’re doubling their dates. Get Cultured:
